And remember Our servant Job, when he called to his Lord, "Indeed, Satan has touched me with hardship and torment." 41 We said to him, “Strike the earth with your foot; this cool spring is for bathing and drinking.” (A spring gushed forth when he struck the earth – this was a miracle.) 42 And We bestowed on him his household and along with them the like thereof, out of mercy from us, and a remembrance unto men of understanding. 43 And We said, “Take a broom in your hand and strike her with it, and do not break your vow”; We indeed found him patiently enduring; what an excellent bondman! He is indeed most inclined. 44 Remember Our servants Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob -- possessors of strength and vision. 45 Assuredly We purified them with a quality most pure, the remembrance of the Abode, 46 Indeed with Us they are among the chosen, the excellent. 47 And remember Ishmael, Elisha and Dhu'l-Kifl. Every one of them is among the best. 48 This was a remembrance. An excellent retreat awaits the God-fearing 49 'Adn (Edn) Paradise (everlasting Gardens), whose doors will be open for them, [It is said (in Tafsir At-Tabari, Part 23, Page 174) that one can speak to the doors, just one tells it to open and close, and it will open or close as it is ordered]. 50 Where they will take their ease, calling for fruits in plenty, and for wine, 51 ۞ And with them will be women limiting [their] glances and of equal age. 52 This is what they had been promised for the Day of Judgment. 53 Indeed, this is Our provision; for it there is no depletion. 54 This (for the virtuous); but for the transgressors the evil destination, 55 hell will they have to endure - and how vile a resting-place! 56 Yea, such! - then shall they taste it,- a boiling fluid, and a fluid dark, murky, intensely cold!- 57 and other similar to it, joined together. 58 [And they will say to one another: "Do you see] this crowd of people who rushed headlong [into sin] with you? No welcome to them! Verily, they [too] shall have to endure the fire!" 59 [And] they [who had been seduced] will exclaim: "Nay, but it is you! No welcome to you! It is you who have prepared this for us: and how vile a state to abide in!" 60 They will say: "O Lord, give him who has brought this upon us two times more the torment of Hell;" 61 And will add: "O what has happened to us that we do not see the men we counted among the wicked. 62 “Did we mock at them or did our eyes turn away from them?” 63 Verily all this is true. This is how the inmates of the Fire will dispute among themselves. 64
