Proclaim (O dear Prophet Mohammed peace and blessings be upon him), “I am purely a Herald of Warning and there is no God except Allah, the One, the All Dominant.” 65 Lord of the heavens and the earth and all that is between them, the Mighty, the Pardoning. 66 Say thou: it is a tiding mighty. 67 "From which you turn away! 68 [Say, O Muhammad:] "No knowledge would I have had of [what passed among] the host on high when they argued [against the creation of man,] 69 “I receive only the divine revelations, that I am purely a clear Herald of Warning.” 70 [For,] lo, thy Sustainer said unto the angels: "Behold, I am about to create a human being out of clay; 71 "When I have fashioned him (in due proportion) and breathed into him of My spirit, fall ye down in obeisance unto him." 72 So the angels prostrated themselves, all of them together: 73 save Iblis; he waxed proud, and was one of the unbelievers. 74 Said (God): "O Iblis, what hindered you from adoring what I created by My own authority? Are you too proud, or too high and mighty?" 75 He replied: “I am nobler than he. You created me from fire and created him from clay.” 76 Said He: "Go forth, then, from this [angelic state] - for, behold, thou art henceforth accursed, 77 And surely My curse is on you to the day of judgment. 78 He said: "O Lord, give me respite till the day the dead rise from their graves." 79 Said Allah, “You are therefore among those given respite.” 80 Until the Day of the time appointed. 81 He said: Then by Thy Might I will surely make them live an evil life, all, 82 Other than the chosen ones among Your creatures." 83 (God) said: "This is right by Me, and what I say is right. 84 [That] I will surely fill Hell with you and those of them that follow you all together." 85 Say: 'I ask of you no wage for it, neither am I of those who take things upon themselves. 86 It is but a reminder to the worlds. 87 you shall before long know its truth." 88
Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.
