Did you not see those who dispute concerning Allah's Signs? Whence are they, then, being turned astray? 69 Those who denied the Book and what We sent with Our Noble Messengers; so they will soon come to know. – 70 When shackles will be on their necks and also chains; they will be dragged. 71 boiling water, and cast into the Fire. 72 and then they will be asked, "Where are those whom you associated [with God]?" 73 associated with Allah in His Divinity?” They will say: “We have lost them; rather, we never used to call upon anyone before.” Thus will Allah cause them to stumble in error. 74 (And it is said unto them): This is because ye exulted in the earth without right, and because ye were petulant. 75 Enter the gates of Hell to stay therein forever. The abode of the arrogant is evil. 76 So you persevere with patience (in your mission). The promise of God is true. Whether We show you some of the punishment We have promised them, or gather you up in death, they have to come back to Us. 77 And We have already sent messengers before you. Among them are those [whose stories] We have related to you, and among them are those [whose stories] We have not related to you. And it was not for any messenger to bring a sign [or verse] except by permission of Allah. So when the command of Allah comes, it will be concluded in truth, and the falsifiers will thereupon lose [all]. 78
