Hast thou not seen those who wrangle concerning the revelations of Allah, how they are turned away? - 69 Those who reject the Book and that with which We have sent Our Apostle; but they shall soon come to know, 70 When carcans are about their necks and chains. They are dragged 71 Into boiling water, then in the fire shall they be burned; 72 Then it will be said to them, "Where is that which you used to associate [with Him in worship] 73 associated with Allah in His Divinity?” They will say: “We have lost them; rather, we never used to call upon anyone before.” Thus will Allah cause them to stumble in error. 74 (And it is said unto them): This is because ye exulted in the earth without right, and because ye were petulant. 75 Enter the gates of Hell to abide therein, and (indeed) what an evil abode of the arrogant! 76 (Muhammad), exercise patience. The promise of God is true. Whether We let you witness the suffering with which they were threatened or because of your death (you do not see them suffering,), We shall still punish them when they return to Us (on the Day of Judgment). 77 And We have already sent messengers before you. Among them are those [whose stories] We have related to you, and among them are those [whose stories] We have not related to you. And it was not for any messenger to bring a sign [or verse] except by permission of Allah. So when the command of Allah comes, it will be concluded in truth, and the falsifiers will thereupon lose [all]. 78
