In the name of Allah, the Merciful, the Compassionate
Read! In the name of your Lord, who created: 1 Createth man from a clot. 2 Recite: And thy Lord is the Most Generous, 3 Who taught by the pen, 4 Taught man that which he knew not. 5 Yes indeed, man is surely rebellious. 6 That he thinketh himself independent! 7 Verily, to thy Lord is the return (of all). 8 Hast thou seen him who dissuadeth 9 a worshiper when he prays. 10 What is your opinion – if he were upon guidance, 11 or enjoins true piety? 12 Hast thou seen if he denieth (Allah's guidance) and is froward? 13 Does he not realize that God sees him? 14 Let him know that if he does not desist, We shall certainly drag him by his forelocks, 15 A forelock, lying, sinning. 16 Then let him summon his council, 17 We too shall summon the guards of Hell. 18 No, not at all. Never obey him. But prostrate yourself and become nigh (to your Lord). ۩ 19
