The Quake (Al-Zalzalah)

8 verses, revealed in Medina after Women (Al-Nesaa) before Iron (Al-Hadeed)

In the name of Allah, the Compassionate, the Merciful

When the earth is shaken by a terrible quake 1 And the earth throws out its burdens, 2 when man asks, "What is happening to her?"; 3 That Day, it will report its news 4 for your Lord has so directed it. 5 On that Day people will come forward in separate groups to be shown their deeds: 6 whoever has done the smallest particle of good will see it; 7 And whosoever hath worked ill of an atom's weight shall behold it. 8

True are the words of God the Almighty.
