Seest thou not those that dispute concerning the Signs of Allah? How are they turned away (from Reality)?- 69 Those who reject the Book and that with which We have sent Our Apostle; but they shall soon come to know, 70 When, with (iron) collars and chains around their necks, they will be dragged 71 In boiling water; they will then be ignited* in the fire. (Like fuel – see verse 2:24) 72 Then it will be said to them, "Where is that which you used to associate [with Him in worship] 73 other than Allah' They will reply: 'They have gone astray from us. Indeed what we used to call upon before is nothing' Accordingly, Allah leads the unbelievers astray. 74 That is because ye had been exulting in the earth without right, and because ye had been strutting. 75 Enter the gates of Hell to abide therein, and (indeed) what an evil abode of the arrogant! 76 So be patient, surely the promise of Allah is true. So should We make you see part of what We threaten them with, or should We cause you to die, to Us shall they be returned. 77 Surely We have sent apostles before you, some of whose account We have related to you, and that of some We have not told you. But no apostle was given a miracle unless God dispensed. But when the decree of God comes the sentence is passed with justice; and the lovers of vice and vanity will then come to grief. 78
