Do you not consider those who dispute concerning the signs of Allah - how are they averted? 69 Those who deny the Book and that with which We sent Our messengers - they are going to know, 70 When, with (iron) collars and chains around their necks, they will be dragged 71 into the boiling water, then into the Fire they are poured; 72 Then they will be asked, "Where are the idols which you worshipped besides God?" 73 Apart from God?" They will answer: "They have left us in the lurch and fled. In fact it was nothing that we prayed to before." That is how God sends the unbelievers astray. 74 that is because you exulted in the land without justification and because you behaved insolently. 75 Enter the gates of Gehenna and live there for ever. Evil is the lodging of the proud. 76 HENCE, remain thou patient in adversity - for, verily, God's promise always comes true. And whether We show thee [in this world] something of what We hold in store for those [deniers of the truth,] or whether We cause thee to die [ere that retribution takes place - know that, in the end,] it is unto Us that they will be brought back. 77 Assuredly We have sent apostles before thee, of them are these whose story We have recounted unto thee and these whose story We have not recounted unto thee. And it was not possible for any apostle that he should bring a sign save by Allah's leave. So when the commade of Allah cometh, judgment will be given with truth, and then will lose the followers of falsehood. 78
