Hast thou not regarded those who dispute concerning the signs of God, how they are turned about? 69 Those who rejected the Book and the message which was given to Our Messenger will soon know (the consequences of their evil deeds). 70 When iron collars will be rounded over their necks, and the chains, they shall be dragged along. 71 Through boiling water, and then burnt in the Fire. 72 Then they will be asked, "Where are the idols which you worshipped besides God?" 73 They will reply, "They have abandoned us. In fact, we had worshipped nothing" Thus does God cause the disbelievers to go astray. 74 that is because you exulted in the land without justification and because you behaved insolently. 75 Enter Hell now to abide in it. How woeful is the abode of those who wax proud! 76 (Muhammad), exercise patience. The promise of God is true. Whether We let you witness the suffering with which they were threatened or because of your death (you do not see them suffering,), We shall still punish them when they return to Us (on the Day of Judgment). 77 And We have already sent messengers before you. Among them are those [whose stories] We have related to you, and among them are those [whose stories] We have not related to you. And it was not for any messenger to bring a sign [or verse] except by permission of Allah. So when the command of Allah comes, it will be concluded in truth, and the falsifiers will thereupon lose [all]. 78
