And (remember) the Day that the enemies of Allah will be gathered to the Fire, so they will be collected there (the first and the last). 19 till, when they come close to it, their hearing and their sight and their [very] skins will bear witness against them, speaking of what they were doing [on earth]. 20 'Why did you bear witness against us' they will ask their skins, and they will reply: 'Allah has given us speech, as He has given speech to everything. It was He who created you the first time, and to Him you shall return. 21 Not so did you cover yourselves, that your hearing, your eyes and your skins should not bear witness against you; but you thought that God would never know much of the things that you were working. 22 And that was your assumption which you assumed about your Lord. It has brought you to ruin, and you have become among the losers." 23 Then if they are patient, the Fire is their home, and if they seek to please Allah, they will not be of those who are allowed to please Allah. 24 ۞ And We have assigned unto them some companions who made fairseeming unto them that which was before them and that which was behind them, and justified upon them was the word pronounced on the communities of the jinn and mankind who passed away before them; verily they were the losers. 25
