And indeed the Noble Messengers came to the people of Firaun. 41 they, too, gave the lie to all Our messages: and thereupon We took them to task as only the Almighty, who determines all things, can take to task. 42 Are your disbelievers better than those, or have ye some immunity in the scriptures? 43 Or do they say: "We are a great multitude, and we shall be victorious?" 44 The hosts shall soon be routed and they shall be put to flight. 45 In fact their promise is upon the Last Day – and the Last Day is very severe and very bitter! 46 Verily the culprits shall be in great error and madness. 47 On the Day when they are dragged on their faces into the Fire, (it will be said to them): 'Taste the touch of the Scorching' 48 Verily, We have created all things with Qadar (Divine Preordainments of all things before their creation, as written in the Book of Decrees Al-Lauh Al-Mahfuz). 49 And Our command is but one, like a glance of the eye. 50 And We destroyed those like you, is there any that will remember! 51 And everything they have done is in the writings. 52 And every small and great thing is recorded. 53 Indeed, the righteous will be among gardens and rivers, 54 honorably seated in the presence of the All-dominant King. 55
