Consultation (Al-Shooraa)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
Ha, Meem. 1 Ayn. Sin. Qaf. 2 In this wise revealeth unto thee and unto those before thee, Allah the Mighty, the Wise. 3 His is all that is in the heavens and all that is on earth; and most exalted, tremendous is He. 4 The skies are near to bursting asunder above them (for awe of Him), and the angels sing the praises of their Lord, imploring forgiveness for the dwellers of the earth. Is it not that God is forgiving and merciful? 5 God is the guardian of even those who have chosen others (idols) besides Him as their guardians (Muhammad), you will not have to answer for them. 6 And thus We have inspired unto you (O Muhammad SAW) a Quran (in Arabic) that you may warn the Mother of the Towns (Makkah) and all around it. And warn of the Day of Assembling, of which there is no doubt, when a party will be in Paradise (those who believed in Allah and followed what Allah's Messenger SAW brought them) and a party in the blazing Fire (Hell) (those who disbelieved in Allah and followed not what Allah's Messenger SAW brought them). 7 If Allah had so willed, He could have made them all a single community. But He admits whomsoever He pleases into His Mercy. As to those given to wrong-doing, they shall have none as protector or helper. 8 Or have they chosen protecting friends besides Him? But Allah, He (alone) is the Protecting Friend. He quickeneth the dead, and He is Able to do all things. 9
