Al-Zukhruf 4 of 7

And whoever turns himself away from the remembrance of the Beneficent Allah, We appoint for him a Shaitan, so he becomes his associate. 36 And indeed, the devils avert them from the way [of guidance] while they think that they are [rightly] guided 37 At length, when (such a one) comes to Us, he says (to his evil companion): "Would that between me and thee were the distance of East and West!" Ah! evil is the companion (indeed)! 38 It will be said [to such a person], "You have done wrong. Having partners in punishment will be of no avail to you today." 39 Can you make the deaf to hear, or show the blind, and those lost in clear error, the way? 40 Even if We take you away, We shall take vengeance upon them, 41 Or show you some of what We have promised them. They are certainly well within Our power. 42 So hold you (O Muhammad SAW) fast to that which is inspired in you. Verily, you are on a Straight Path. 43 And indeed, it is a remembrance for you and your people, and you [all] are going to be questioned. 44 And ask (O Muhammad SAW) those of Our Messengers whom We sent before you: "Did We ever appoint aliha (gods) to be worshipped besides the Most Beneficent (Allah)?" 45
