Al-Dukhaan 3 of 3
The tree of al-Zaqqum 43 shall be the food of the guilty sinners. 44 like molten copper, bubbling in the belly 45 Like the boiling of scalding water. 46 [It will be commanded], "Seize him and drag him into the midst of the Hellfire, 47 Then pour upon his head the torment of boiling water. 48 "Taste it," (they will be told). "You were indeed the mighty and noble! 49 “Indeed this is what you used to doubt about.” 50 [As against this] verily, the God-conscious will find themselves in a state secure, 51 among gardens and springs, 52 Attired in silk and brocade, they shall be arrayed face to face. 53 Thus. And We will marry them to fair women with large, [beautiful] eyes. 54 therein calling for every fruit, secure. 55 They will not taste death therein, except the first death; and He will preserve them from the torment of the Flaming Fire. 56 A bounty from thy Lord. That! that is the supreme achievement. 57 And We have made this Qur’an easy in your language, for them to understand. 58 Therefore wait; surely they are waiting. 59

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
