The food of the Zakkum tree 43 shall be the food of the sinful. 44 Like molten copper boiling in the belly 45 like the boiling of burning despair. 46 [And the word will be spoken:] "Seize him, [O you forces of hell,] and drag him into the midst of the blazing fire: 47 Then pour unto their heads the boiling water to torment them". 48 They will be told, "Suffer the torment. You had thought yourselves to be majestic and honorable. 49 This is the torment that you persistently doubted". 50 Verily the God-fearing will be in a place secure 51 Among Gardens and Springs; 52 They shall wear of fine and thick silk, (sitting) face to face; 53 So it is; and We have wedded them to maidens with gorgeous eyes. 54 There can they call for every kind of fruit in peace and security; 55 They shall not taste therein of death, save the first death, And He shall guard them against the chastisement of Hell -- 56 As a Bounty from your Lord! That will be the supreme success! 57 We have made the Quran easy for you to recite so that perhaps they may take heed. 58 So watch, [O Muhammad]; indeed, they are watching [for your end]. 59
