The tree of al-Zaqqum 43 Food of the sinner. 44 Like murky oil, it boils within bellies 45 like the boiling of hot water. 46 (It will be said of such sinners), "Seize them and drag them into the middle of hell. 47 "Then pour over his head the torment of boiling water, 48 "Taste thou (this)! Truly wast thou mighty, full of honour! 49 Lo! this is that whereof ye used to doubt. 50 Surely the godfearing shall be in a station secure 51 among gardens and springs, 52 robed in silk and brocade, set face to face. 53 So it is; and We have wedded them to maidens with gorgeous eyes. 54 In that [paradise] they shall [rightfully] claim all the fruits [of their past deeds,] resting in security; 55 Nor will they there taste Death, except the first death; and He will preserve them from the Penalty of the Blazing Fire,- 56 God will protect them from the torment of hell as a favor from your Lord. (Muhammad), this is certainly the greatest triumph. 57 We have now made it easy on your tongue, in order that they remember. 58 Therefore wait (O dear Prophet Mohammed – peace and blessings be upon him) – they too are waiting. 59
