Verily, the tree of Zaqqum, 43 shall be the food of the guilty sinners. 44 like molten lead will it boil in the belly, 45 Like the boiling of hot water. 46 Seize him, then drag him down into the middle of the hell; 47 Then pour upon his head the torment of boiling water. 48 (Saying): Taste! Lo! thou wast forsooth the mighty, the noble! 49 This is certainly what you had denied." 50 Verily! The Muttaqun (pious - see V. 2:2), will be in place of Security (Paradise). 51 amid gardens and springs, 52 Dressed in fine silk and in rich brocade, they will face each other; 53 Even so. And We shall pair them with fair damsels large-eyed. 54 They will call for every kind of fruit with satisfaction. 55 They will not taste death therein, except the first death; and He will preserve them from the torment of the Flaming Fire. 56 as a favour from your Lord. That is the great triumph. 57 And We have made this Qur’an easy in your language, for them to understand. 58 So wait thou and watch; for they (too) are waiting. 59
