Al-Dukhaan 3 of 3
Lo, the Tree of Ez-Zakkoum 43 shall be the food of the guilty sinners. 44 Like dregs of oil, it will boil in their bellies 45 as boiling water bubbles. 46 (It will be said) "Seize him and drag him into the midst of blazing Fire, 47 Then pour unto their heads the boiling water to torment them". 48 Taste it - thou who [on earth] hast considered thyself so mighty, so noble! 49 This is certainly what you had denied." 50 Verily! The Muttaqun (pious - see V. 2:2), will be in place of Security (Paradise). 51 among gardens and fountains, 52 Wearing [garments of] fine silk and brocade, facing each other. 53 Even so. And We shall pair them with fair damsels large-eyed. 54 There in security, they will call for every kind of fruit. 55 They will not taste death therein except the first death, and He will have protected them from the punishment of Hellfire 56 A grace from your Lord; this is the great achievement. 57 So have We made it easy in your tongue that they may be mindful. 58 So you wait. They are also waiting. 59

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
