The food of the Zakkum tree 43 The food of the sinner! 44 like molten copper, bubbling in the belly 45 As does boiling water. 46 Lay hold of him, and drag him unto the midst of the Flaming Fire. 47 Then pour upon his head the torment of boiling water. 48 Taste this; you who considered yourself the mighty, the honourable! 49 This is the torment that you persistently doubted". 50 Verily! The Muttaqun (pious - see V. 2:2), will be in place of Security (Paradise). 51 Among Gardens and Springs; 52 Attired in silk and silk embroidery, facing one another. 53 Thus shall it be. And We shall pair them with companions pure, most beautiful of eye. 54 They will call therein for every kind of fruit, in peace and security. 55 They will not taste death therein, save the first death. God will save them from the torment of Hell 56 As a Bounty from thy Lord! that will be the supreme achievement! 57 And We have made this Qur’an easy in your language, for them to understand. 58 Wait then (O Muhammad). Lo! they (too) are waiting. 59
