The tree of Zaqqum 43 The food of the sinner! 44 Like the dregs of all! It shall seethe in the bellies: 45 like the boiling of hot water. 46 'Take him, and thrust him into the midst of Hell, 47 Then pour upon his head the torment of boiling water. 48 "Taste you (this)! Verily, you were (pretending to be) the mighty, the generous! 49 This is that which you doubted' 50 As to the Righteous (they will be) in a position of Security, 51 amidst gardens and fountains, 52 dressed in fine silk and in rich brocade, and they will face each other: 53 Even so; and We shall espouse them to wide-eyed houris, 54 They will call for every kind of fruit with satisfaction. 55 and neither shall they taste death there after having passed through their erstwhile death. Thus will He have preserved them from all suffering through the blazing fire 56 as a favour from your Lord. That is the great triumph. 57 We have made this Quran easy to understand, in your own language, so that they may take heed. 58 Wait then (O Muhammad). Lo! they (too) are waiting. 59
