I swear by all that you can see, 38 and what you do not see 39 [That] indeed, the Qur'an is the word of a noble Messenger. 40 And not the word of a poet. How little is it that you believe! 41 Nor is it the speech of a sooth-sayer. Little are ye admonished. 42 A sending down from the Lord of all Being. 43 And if he [i.e., the Prophets] had forged this Discourse and thereafter ascribed it to Us, 44 We would indeed have seized him by his right hand, 45 Then would have cut off his heart’s artery. 46 And none of you could withhold Us from (punishing) him. 47 And verily it is an admonition unto the God-fearing. 48 And verily, We know that there are some among you that belie (this Quran). [Tafsir At-Tabari, Vol. 29, Page 68] 49 and (on the Day of Judgment) this will be a great source of regret for the unbelievers. 50 And verily it is the truth of assured certainty. 51 So glorify the Name of your Lord, the Most Great. 52
