Kneeling (Al-Jaatheyah)
In the Name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
Ha Mim. 1 The sending down of the Book is from Allah, the Almighty, the Wise. 2 Indeed, within the heavens and earth are signs for the believers. 3 And in your (own) creation and in what He spreads abroad of animals there are signs for a people that are sure; 4 In the alternation of the night and the day, the sustenance which God has sent down from the sky to revive the barren earth, and in the changing of the direction of the winds there is evidence of the truth for the people of understanding. 5 These are the Ayat (proofs, evidences, verses, lessons, revelations, etc.) of Allah, which We recite to you (O Muhammad SAW) with truth. Then in which speech after Allah and His Ayat will they believe? 6 Woe to every sinful liar, 7 who hears Allah's Signs being rehearsed to him, and yet persists in his pride, as though he had not heard it. Announce to him, then, the tidings of a grievous chastisement. 8 When he learns about some of Our revelations, he mocks them. Such people will suffer a humiliating torment. 9 Hell is ahead of them; and all that they may have gained [in this world] shall be of no avail whatever to them, and neither shall any of those things which, instead of God, they have come to regard as their protectors: for, awesome suffering awaits them. 10 This (Quran) is a guidance. Those who reject the revelations of their Lord will suffer the most painful punishment. 11
