And unto Allah belongeth the Sovereignty of the heavens and the earth; and on the day when the Hour riseth, on that day those who follow falsehood will be lost. 27 You will see every people on their knees, every people shall be summoned to its Record [and a voice will say], "Today you will be requited for your deeds. 28 This Book of Ours speaketh against you with truth; verily We have been setting down whatsoever ye have been working. 29 Those who believed and did good deeds will be admitted by their Lord into His mercy -- that shall be the manifest triumph. 30 But those who rejected the truth [will be asked], "When My revelations were recited to you, were you not arrogant and did you not persist in wicked deeds? 31 And when it was said: "Verily! Allah's Promise is the truth, and there is no doubt about the coming of the Hour," you said; "We know not what is the Hour, we do not think it but as a conjecture, and we have no firm convincing belief (therein)." 32 And the evil (consequences) of what they did shall become manifest to them and that which they mocked shall encompass them. 33 "We shall ignore you today," they will be told, "as you had forgotten the meeting of this Day. Your dwelling place is Hell, and there is none to save you: 34 this, because you made God's messages the target of your mockery, having allowed the life of this world to beguile you!" On that Day, therefore, they will not be brought out of the fire, nor will they be allowed to make amends. 35 All praise, then, unto Allah, Lord of the heavens and Lord of the earth, Lord of the worlds. 36 And for Him only is the Greatness, in the heavens and in the earth; and He only is the Most Honourable, the Wise. 37
