Victory (Al-Fatt-h)
In the name of Allah, most benevolent, ever-merciful
(O Prophet), surely We have granted you a clear victory 1 that Allah forgives your past and future sins, and completes His Favor to you, and guides you on a Straight Path, 2 And that Allah may help thee with strong help - 3 He it is Who sent down As-Sakinah (calmness and tranquillity) into the hearts of the believers, that they may grow more in Faith along with their (present) Faith. And to Allah belong the hosts of the heavens and the earth, and Allah is Ever All-Knower, All-Wise. 4 In order to admit the believing men and believing women into Gardens beneath which rivers flow, in which they will abide, and to relieve them of their misdeeds; and this, in Allah’s sight, is the greatest success. 5 (He also did this) to chastise the hypocrites, both men and women, and those who associate others in His Divinity, both men and women, and who harbour evil thoughts about Allah. They shall be afflicted with misfortune, Allah is wroth with them. He has laid His curse upon them and has prepared for them Hell. What an evil end! 6 Allah's are the hosts of the heavens and the earth, and Allah is ever Mighty, Wise. 7 Verily We! We have sent thee as a witness and a bearer of glad tidings and a warner. 8 In order that you (O mankind) may believe in Allah and His Messenger (SAW), and that you assist and honour him (SAW), and (that you) glorify (Allah's) praises morning and afternoon. 9 Those who swear allegiance to you indeed swear allegiance to God; and God's protection is over them. Then whosoever breaks the promise breaks it to his own loss; but whosoever fulfills the promise made to God will receive a great reward from Him. 10
