Q (Qaaf)
In the name of Allah, most benevolent, ever-merciful
Qaf. I swear by the glorious Quran (that Muhammad is the Apostle of Allah) 1 Nay, but they marvel that a warner of their own hath come unto them; and the disbelievers say: This is a strange thing: 2 What, when we are dead and become dust? That is a far returning!' 3 We already know how much of them (of their bodies) the earth will consume. With Us there is a Book that contains all records. 4 In fact they denied the Truth when it came to them, so they are now in a dilemma. 5 Have they not looked at the heaven above them - how We structured it and adorned it and [how] it has no rifts? 6 and We have spread out the earth, and have set upon it firm mountains, and have caused it to bring out plants of all beauteous kinds? 7 thus offering an insight and a reminder unto every human being who willingly turns unto God. 8 And We send down from the cloud water abounding in good, then We cause to grow thereby gardens and the grain that is reaped, 9 And tall (and stately) palm-trees, with shoots of fruit-stalks, piled one over another;- 10 Provision (made) for men; and therewith We quicken a dead land. Even so will be the resurrection of the dead. 11 Cried lies before them the people of Noah and the men of Er-Rass, and Thamood, 12 Ad, the Pharaoh, Lot, 13 And the dwellers of the Wood, and the people of Tubba'; everyone of them denied (their) Messengers, so My Threat took effect. 14 Were We exhausted by the act of the first creation? And yet they are confused about a new creation. 15
