And We have already created man and know what his soul whispers to him, and We are closer to him than [his] jugular vein 16 Moreover, there are two scribes, one each sitting on the right and the left, recording everything. 17 He utters not a word, but there is a vigilant watcher at hand. 18 and (the human being will be told), "This is what you had been trying to run away from". 19 And the Trumpet was blown; “This is the Day of the promised punishment.” 20 Each soul shall come with a driver, and a witness. 21 You were heedless of this. Now We have removed your veil and so your vision today is sharp. 22 And his companion (angel) will say: "Here is (this Record) ready with me!" 23 (They will be told,) "Throw into hell every persistent disbelievers, 24 "Every obstructor of good, transgressor, and the sceptic, 25 who has set up another deity beside God: cast him, then, cast him into suffering severe!" 26 ۞ and his associate [Satan] will say, "Lord, I did not make him transgress, he had already gone far astray himself." 27 He will say: Do not quarrel in My presence, and indeed I gave you the threatening beforehand: 28 and My word shall not be changed, nor am I unjust to My servants." 29
