He created man and surely know what misdoubts arise in their hearts; for We are closer to him than his jugular vein. 16 When the two Receivers receive (him), seated on the right hand and on the left, 17 Not a word does he (or she) utter, but there is a watcher by him ready (to record it). 18 And when the agony of death comes in truth (they will say): 'This is what you have been trying to avoid' 19 And the Horn shall be blown; that is the Day of Threat! 20 And every soul came, along with a herder and a witness. 21 (And unto the evil-doer it is said): Thou wast in heedlessness of this. Now We have removed from thee thy covering, and piercing is thy sight this day. 22 And his companions shall say: This is what is ready with me. 23 Cast ye twain into Hell every person rebellious, contumacious. 24 Hinderer of good, transgressor, doubter, 25 “The one who appointed another God along with Allah – so both of you fling him into the severe punishment.” 26 ۞ His companion will say: Our Lord! I did not lead him into inordinacy but he himself was in a great error. 27 Allah will say: wrangle not in My presence, and I had already proferred unto you the threat. 28 The Sentence that comes from Me cannot be changed, and I am not unjust (to the least) to the slaves." 29

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
