We built the heavens by Our authority; and We are the Lord of power and expanse. 47 And the earth have We laid out, how gracious is the Spreader (thereof)! 48 And of everything We have created pairs that you may be mindful. 49 Therefore fly to Allah, surely I am a plain warner to you from Him. 50 And do not set up with Allah another god: surely I am a plain warner to you from Him. 51 Even thus no apostle came to those before them but they said: "He is a sorcerer or a mad man." 52 What, have they bequeathed it one to another? Nay, but they are an insolent people. 53 so ignore them, you are not to blame, 54 but keep on exhorting them, for exhortation benefits the believers. 55 I have not created jinn and mankind except to serve Me. 56 I do not ask any sustenance from them, nor wish that they give Me food. 57 for, verily, God Himself is the Provider of all sustenance, the Lord of all might, the Eternal! 58 And verily, they who are bent on doing evil shall have their share [of evil] like unto the share of their fellows [of old]: so let them not ask Me to hasten [their doom]! 59 Woe to the disbelievers when the day with which they have been threatened comes! 60
