We built the universe with Our might, giving it its vast expanse. 47 We spread the earth a carpet; what comfort We provide! 48 And of every thing We have created pairs: That ye may receive instruction. 49 Therefor flee unto Allah; lo! I am a plain warner unto you from him. 50 And make not another an object of worship with Allah: I am from Him a Warner to you, clear and open! 51 Even thus no apostle came to those before them but they said: "He is a sorcerer or a mad man." 52 What! Have they willed this utterance to one another? In fact they are a rebellious people. 53 So turn away from them: not thine is the blame. 54 But teach (thy Message) for teaching benefits the Believers. 55 And I have not created the jinn and the men except that they should serve Me. 56 No Sustenance do I require of them, nor do I require that they should feed Me. 57 Surely God is the All-provider, the Possessor of Strength, the Ever-Sure. 58 And indeed for these unjust is also a turn of punishment, like that of their companions – so they must not ask Me to hasten. 59 Woe, then, betide those who disbelieved in that Day of theirs which they are being asked to hold in dread. 60
