Hoarding (Al-Takaathur)

8 verses, revealed in Mecca after Bounty (Al-Kawthar) before Charity (Al-Maa'oon)

In the name of God, The Most Gracious, The Dispenser of Grace

Gross rivalry diverts you, 1 until you come to the graves. 2 You shall know. 3 And once again: Nay, in time you will come to understand! 4 And yet if you knew with positive knowledge 5 You will surely see the Hellfire. 6 Then you will surely see it with the eye of certainty. 7 and on that Day you will most surely be called to account for [what you did with] the boon of life! 8

God the Almighty always says the truth.
