Thorns (Al-Masad)

5 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Key (Al-Faatehah) before The Rolling (Al-Takweer)

Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful

Perdition overtake both hands of Abu Lahab, and he will perish. 1 Of no avail shall be his wealth, nor what he has acquired. 2 [In the life to come] he shall have to endure a fire fiercely glowing; 3 together with his wife, that carrier of evil tales, 4 A rope made from palm fibre around her neck! 5

Almighty God's Truth.
