We built the heavens by Our authority; and We are the Lord of power and expanse. 47 And We made the earth a base, so how well do We lay out! 48 and We created pairs of all things so that you might reflect. 49 So flee to Allah. Indeed, I am to you from Him a clear warner. 50 And set not any other god along with Allah; lo! I am a plain warner unto you from Him. 51 Even so not a Messenger came to those before them but they said, 'A sorcerer, or a man possessed!' 52 Is this the legacy they have transmitted, one to another? Nay, they are themselves a people transgressing beyond bounds! 53 So leave them, [O Muhammad], for you are not to be blamed. 54 And continue to remind, for surely the reminder profits the believers. 55 We have created jinn and human beings only that they might worship Me. 56 I do not expect to receive any sustenance from them or that they should feed Me. 57 Indeed, it is Allah who is the [continual] Provider, the firm possessor of strength. 58 So surely those who are unjust shall have a portion like the portion of their companions, therefore let them not ask Me to hasten on. 59 Woe, then, to the Unbelievers, on account of that Day of theirs which they have been promised! 60
