Seest thou one who turns back, 33 And gives a little and (then) withholds. 34 Does he have knowledge of the unseen, so he sees? 35 Has he not heard what is contained in the Book of Moses, 36 And of Abraham who fulfilled his engagements?- 37 That no burdened soul bears another soul’s burden? 38 and that everyone shall have in his account only that which he worked for, 39 And that his effort will soon be scrutinised? 40 and will be fully recompensed for his deeds. 41 And that the end is only towards your Lord? 42 And that He it is Who makes (men) laugh and makes (them) weep; 43 and that He it is Who causes death and grants life, 44 and that He Himself created the two kinds, male and female, 45 From a drop (of seed) when it is poured forth; 46 And that upon Him is another bringing forth. 47 That it is He Who giveth wealth and satisfaction; 48 And that it is He who is the Lord of Sirius 49 And that He did destroy the Ad of old 50 And the Thamud nor gave them a lease of perpetual life. 51 and the people of Noah before -- certainly they did exceeding evil, and were insolent 52 just as He thrust into perdition those cities that were overthrown 53 So that (ruins unknown) have covered them up. 54 Then which of the gifts of thy Lord, (O man,) wilt thou dispute about? 55 This is a warner of the warners of old. 56 The near event draws nigh. 57 There is no one to unveil it apart from God. 58 Will you, then, wonder at this? 59 And you laugh, and do not weep! 60 indulging in carelessly idle games? 61 Rather, prostrate to Allah and worship Him. ۩ 62
True are the words of God the Almighty.

Notes and Instructions
When reading the Colorful Quran in English transliterated Arabic mode, you may not notice that there is an algorithm designed to match the pause requirements of the original Arabic scripture, (waqf signs). As you may know, the original Arabic Quran has five main types of pauses, (waqf) signs. (1) Compulsory break, where the transliteration uses a full stop. (2) Optional pause with the preference for pausing, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a probability of two thirds. (3) Optional stop with an equal preference for pausing and resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a half-half probability. (4) Optional pause with the preference for resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a chance of one third. (5) Attraction pause, also called hugging, or (mu’anaka) sign, where it is compulsory to pause at either one of two nearby positions, but not both; where the transliteration inserts a comma at either one of the two locations with a half-half probability.
