Have you seen the one who turned away 33 And he gave a little, then refrained? 34 Has he knowledge of the Unknown that he perceives everything? 35 Hath he not been told of that which is in the writs of Musa. 36 and about Abraham who fulfilled his duty (to God)? 37 that no bearer of burdens shall be made to bear another's burden; 38 nor can man achieve anything without hard labor. 39 He will certainly see the result of his labor 40 Then shall he be rewarded for it with the fullest reward- 41 And that the end is only towards your Lord? 42 and that He it is Who causes people to laugh and to cry, 43 And that it is He who causes death and gives life 44 And that He createth the pair, the male and the female. 45 From a seed when lodged (in its place); 46 And that upon Him (Allah) is another bringing forth (Resurrection); 47 that He it is Who bestowed wealth and riches, 48 and that it is He alone who sustains the brightest star; 49 It is He who utterly destroyed the ancient tribes of Ad, 50 and Thamood, and He did not spare them, 51 as well as the people of Noah before them - [since,] verily, they all had been most willful in their evildoing and most overweening 52 It is He who turned upside down the people of Lot 53 so that there came upon them that which came. 54 Then which of the Graces of your Lord (O man!) will you doubt. 55 This is a warner of the warners of old. 56 The near event draws nigh. 57 and none but Allah can avert it. 58 Do you marvel then at this discourse (the Koran)? 59 And laugh and not weep, 60 Wasting your time in vanities? 61 Bow instead in adoration before God and worship Him. ۩ 62
