Didst thou (O Muhammad) observe him who turned away, 33 And gives a little and (then) withholds. 34 Does he possess the knowledge of the unseen, thus, he sees (all things)? 35 Nay, is he not acquainted with what is in the Books of Moses- 36 And of Abraham who fulfilled his engagements?- 37 That no burdened person (with sins) shall bear the burden (sins) of another. 38 That a man receives but only that for which he strives; 39 And that his effort will be seen. 40 Then will he be rewarded with a reward complete; 41 And that thy Lord, He is the goal; 42 that it is He who brings laughter and tears; 43 that it is He who causes death and gives life; 44 And that He createth the two spouses, the male and the female, 45 from an ejected drop of sperm; 46 And that on Him is the bringing forth a second time; 47 And that He it is Who enriches and gives to hold; 48 and that it is He alone who sustains the brightest star; 49 And that He destroyed the former 'A-ad. 50 And Thamud - and He did not spare [them] - 51 and the people of Noah before -- certainly they did exceeding evil, and were insolent 52 And that it is He Who threw down the upturned townships? 53 so that there covered it that which covered. 54 So O listener! Which favour of your Lord will you doubt? 55 THIS IS a warning like those warnings of old: 56 The Day of Resurrection draws near, 57 None except Allah can avert it. 58 Does this statement seem strange to them 59 and do they laugh instead of weeping, 60 Wasting your time in vanities? 61 Bow instead in adoration before God and worship Him. ۩ 62
True are the words of Allah the Almighty.
End of Surah: The Stars (Al-Najm). Sent down in Mecca after Absoluteness (Al-Ikhlaas) before He Frowned ('Abasa)

قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
