Surely warners came to the people of Pharaoh. 41 They rejected each one of Our signs. So We seized them with the grip of one mighty and powerful. 42 Are the unbelievers among you any better than they? Or is there immunity for you in the Scriptures? 43 Do they say, "We shall be victorious because we are united?" 44 Certainly the host shall be routed, and turn their backs. 45 Nay, the Hour (of Judgment) is the time promised them (for their full recompense): And that Hour will be most grievous and most bitter. 46 Truly those in sin are the ones straying in mind, and mad. 47 On the Day when they shall be dragged into the fire on their faces, [they will be told:] "Taste now the touch of hell-fire!" 48 Indeed, all things We created with predestination. 49 And Our command is only a fleeting one – like the batting of an eyelid. 50 We have indeed destroyed many a people like you. Is there anyone who would receive admonition? 51 And everything they did is in written records. 52 and everything [that man does,] be it small or great, is recorded [with God]. 53 Lo! the righteous will dwell among gardens and rivers, 54 where they will be honourably seated in the presence of a King, Mighty in Power. 55
