And indeed the Noble Messengers came to the people of Firaun. 41 They denied Our signs, all of them, so We seized them with a seizure of one Exalted in Might and Perfect in Ability. 42 Are your people who deny the truth better than those? Or have you been given immunity in the Scriptures? 43 Or say they: We are a host victorious? 44 Soon shall the hosts be routed, and they shall turn (their) backs. 45 But nay - the Last Hour is the time when they shall truly meet their fate; and that Last Hour will be most calamitous, and most bitter: 46 Indeed the criminals are astray and insane. 47 The Day they are dragged into the Fire on their faces [it will be said], "Taste the touch of Saqar." 48 Surely We have created everything according to a measure. 49 And Our commandment is but one (commandment), as the twinkling of an eye. 50 And We have indeed destroyed your kind, so is there one who would ponder? 51 Whatever they have done has been recorded in the Books (records of the deeds). 52 and everything [that man does,] be it small or great, is recorded [with God]. 53 Surely those who guard (against evil) shall be in gardens and rivers, 54 In an Assembly of Truth, in the Presence of a Sovereign Omnipotent. 55
