And assuredly unto the household of Fir'awn came the warning. 41 They denied Our signs, all of them, so We seized them with a seizure of one Exalted in Might and Perfect in Ability. 42 Are your infidels better than these? Or is there an immunity for you in the Writs? 43 Do they say, "We shall be victorious because we are united?" 44 The hosts shall soon be routed and they shall be put to flight. 45 In fact, the Hour of Doom is the time for them to suffer. The suffering of this hour is the most calamitous and the most bitter (of all suffering). 46 Truly those in sin are the ones straying in mind, and mad. 47 On the Day when they shall be dragged into the fire on their faces, [they will be told:] "Taste now the touch of hell-fire!" 48 Verily, all things have We created in proportion and measure. 49 And Our command is but one, like a glance of the eye. 50 And (oft) in the past, have We destroyed gangs like unto you: then is there any that will receive admonition? 51 And everything they have wrought is in the Writs. 52 And everything small and great is written down. 53 Surely those who guard (against evil) shall be in gardens and rivers, 54 In a seat of truth (i.e. Paradise), near the Omnipotent King (Allah, the All-Blessed, the Most High, the Owner of Majesty and Honour). 55
