And assuredly unto the household of Fir'awn came the warning. 41 They cried lies to Our signs, all of them, so We seized them with the seizing of One mighty, omnipotent. 42 What, are your unbelievers better than those? Or have you an immunity in the Scrolls? 43 Or is it that they say: we are a multitude prevailing! 44 The group will soon be routed, and will turn their backs to flee. 45 Indeed, the Hour of Doom is their appointed time, and the Last Hour will be the most severe, and the most bitter. 46 for, behold, those who are lost in sin [will at that time come to know that it is they who] were sunk in error and folly! 47 The Day they will be dragged in the Fire on their faces (it will be said to them): "Taste you the touch of Hell!" 48 Lo! We have created every thing by measure. 49 And Our Commandment is but one, as the twinkling of an eye. 50 And We have indeed destroyed your kind, so is there one who would ponder? 51 And all what they did is in the Books. 52 And everything, small and great, hath been written down. 53 Surely those who fear God and follow the straight path will be amidst gardens and light, 54 in a seat of truth, in the presence of a Sovereign who determines all things. 55
