And indeed, warnings came to the people of Fir'aun (Pharaoh) [through Musa (Moses) and Harun (Aaron)]. 41 They cried lies to Our signs, all of them, so We seized them with the seizing of One mighty, omnipotent. 42 ARE, THEN, those of you who [now] deny the truth better than those others - or have you, perchance, [been promised] immunity in the [ancient] books of [divine] wisdom? 43 Or do they say: "We are a group united, [and therefore] bound to prevail"? 44 The hosts will all be routed and will turn and flee. 45 But the Hour is their appointment [for due punishment], and the Hour is more disastrous and more bitter. 46 The evil-doers are victims of error and madness. 47 The Day they will be dragged in the Fire on their faces (it will be said to them): "Taste you the touch of Hell!" 48 We have indeed created all things by measure; 49 And Our commandment is but one (commandment), as the twinkling of an eye. 50 And verily We have destroyed your fellows; but is there any that remembereth? 51 And each and everything they have done is noted in (their) Records (of deeds). 52 and everything [that man does,] be it small or great, is recorded [with God]. 53 The God-conscious will find themselves in gardens and rivers, 54 In a seat of honor near a Sovereign, Perfect in Ability. 55
