And assuredly unto the household of Fir'awn came the warning. 41 but they belied all Our signs so We seized them with the seizing of the Mighty, Powerful. 42 Are your disbelievers (O Quraish!) better than these [nations of Nuh (Noah), Lout (Lot), Salih (Saleh), and the people of Fir'aun (Pharaoh), etc., who were destroyed]? Or have you an immunity (against Our Torment) in the Divine Scriptures? 43 Or is it that they say: we are a multitude prevailing! 44 Soon shall the hosts be routed, and they shall turn (their) backs. 45 Aye! the Hour is their appointed term, and the Hour shall be far more grievous and far more bitter. 46 Truly those in sin are the ones straying in mind, and mad. 47 On that Day they will be dragged into the fire faces foremost, (and told:) "Taste the feel of Hell." 48 Surely We have created everything according to a measure. 49 And Our commandment shall be but one, as the twinkling of an eye. 50 And verily We have destroyed your fellows; but is there any that remembereth? 51 And everything they did is in written records. 52 everything large or small, is duly inscribed. 53 Surely those who fear God and follow the straight path will be amidst gardens and light, 54 In an Assembly of Truth, in the Presence of a Sovereign Omnipotent. 55
Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.

Notes and Instructions
قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
