All that lives on earth or in the heavens is bound to pass away: 26 And there will remain the Face of your Lord, Owner of Majesty and Honor. 27 Which favors of your Lord will you both belie? 28 All in the heavens and the earth entreat Him for their needs; a new, mighty task engages Him each day. 29 (Jinn and mankind) - which of the favors of your Lord do you then deny? 30 [ONE DAY] We shall take you to task, O you sin-laden two! 31 So O men and jinns! Which favour of your Lord will you deny? 32 O company of jinn and men, if you have the power to go beyond the bounds of the heavens and the earth, go beyond them! Yet you will be unable to go beyond them for that requires infinite power. 33 Which favors of your Lord will you both belie? 34 On you will be sent (O ye evil ones twain!) a flame of fire (to burn) and a smoke (to choke): no defence will ye have: 35 Which, then, of your Sustainer's powers can you disavow? 36 (On the Day of Judgment) when the heavens are rent asunder they will have a flowery color and flow like oil. 37 So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny? - 38 On that Day, neither human nor jinn shall be asked about his sin. 39 Which, then, of your Sustainer's powers can you disavow? 40 The criminals will be recognised from their faces, so will be caught by their forelocks and feet, and thrown into hell. 41 O which of your Lord's bounties will you and you deny? 42 (The guilty ones will be told), "This is hell which the sinful ones denied". 43 they shall go round between it and between hot, boiling water. 44 Which, then, of your Sustainer's powers can you disavow? 45

When reading the Colorful Quran in English transliterated Arabic mode, you may not notice that there is an algorithm designed to match the pause requirements of the original Arabic scripture, (waqf signs). As you may know, the original Arabic Quran has five main types of pauses, (waqf) signs. (1) Compulsory break, where the transliteration uses a full stop. (2) Optional pause with the preference for pausing, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a probability of two thirds. (3) Optional stop with an equal preference for pausing and resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a half-half probability. (4) Optional pause with the preference for resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a chance of one third. (5) Attraction pause, also called hugging, or (mu’anaka) sign, where it is compulsory to pause at either one of two nearby positions, but not both; where the transliteration inserts a comma at either one of the two locations with a half-half probability.
