▼ 55 The All Compassionate
Al-Rahman 3 of 3
And for he who fears the standing (before) his Lord there are two Gardens. 46 Which favors of your Lord will you both belie? 47 [two gardens] of many wondrous hues. 48 So O men and jinns! Which favour of your Lord will you deny? 49 In them (both) will be two springs flowing (free) 50 Which of your Lord's wonders would you deny? 51 In them (both) will be every kind of fruit in pairs. 52 Which of your Lord's wonders would you deny? 53 (The dwellers of Paradise) will recline on couches lined with silk brocade and it will be easy to reach the ripe fruits from the two gardens. 54 Which is it, of the favours of your Lord, that ye deny? 55 Therein shall be those of refraining looks whom before them hath deflowered neither man nor jinn. 56 So O men and jinns! Which favour of your Lord will you deny? 57 They are like rubies and coral-stone. 58 Then which of the Blessings of your Lord will you both (jinns and men) deny? 59 Is the reward of goodness aught but goodness? 60 Which of the laudable attributes of your Lord will you twain – you men and jinn – then deny? 61 And beside them are two other gardens, 62 which, then, of your Sustainer's powers can you disavow? 63 Of darkest verdant green -- 64 So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny? 65 In both of them live springs gush forth. 66 How many favours of your Lord will then both of you deny? -- 67 In both of them will be [all kinds of] fruit, and date-palms and pomegranates. 68 Then which of the Blessings of your Lord will you both (jinns and men) deny? 69 Therein will be maidens chaste and beautiful. 70 Then which of the favours of your Lord will ye deny?- 71 Fair ones reserved in pavilions - 72 So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny? - 73 Untouched before them by man or jinni - 74 Then which of the Blessings of your Lord will you both (jinns and men) deny? 75 [In such a paradise will they dwell,] reclining upon meadows green and carpets rich in beauty. 76 Which then of the bounties of your Lord will you deny? 77 Blest be the name of thine Lord, Owner Of Majesty and Beneficence! 78
Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.
