The Inevitable (Al-Waaqe'ah)
96 verses, revealed in Mecca after T H (Taa Haa) before The Poets (Alshu'araa')
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
۞ When the Event will come to pass 1 no soul will deny its coming. 2 Abasing exalting. 3 When the earth is violently shaken 4 The mountains bruised and crushed, 5 and become a dust, scattered, 6 And ye are classes three. 7 The people of the right hand - those whose books of records will be placed in their right hands. How happy they will be! 8 The people of the left hand - those whose books of records will be placed in their left hands. How miserable they will be! 9 The foremost ones (in faith and virtue) - the foremost ones in receiving their reward. 10 Those! they shall be the brought nigh, 11 In Gardens of Delight. 12 A large group from the earlier generations. 13 and a lesser number from the later generations. 14 On thrones decorated, 15 Reclining thereon facing each other. 16 They will be served by immortal boys, 17 Carrying bowls and pitchers and cups filled with wine flowing before them. 18 which will not cause them any intoxication or illness. 19 And with fruit from that which they choose. 20 And the flesh of fowl such as they desire. 21 And there will be fair ones large eyed. 22 as the likeness of hidden pearls, 23 A reward for what they used to do. 24 They will not hear therein any vain or sinful talk, 25 Nought but the saying: peace! peace! 26 As for the people of the right hand, how happy they will be! 27 (They will be) among Lote-trees without thorns, 28 Among Talh trees with flowers (or fruits) piled one above another,- 29 and extended shade, 30 and flowing water 31 and an abundance of fruits, 32 Whose season is not limited, and their supply will not be cut off, 33 And raised couches. 34 Verily, We have created them (maidens) of special creation. 35 And made them virgin - pure (and undefiled), - 36 loving companions, matching in age, 37 For those on the right hand; 38

Notes and Instructions
There are memorization exercises for the original Arabic and English transliterated Arabic modes only. The English translation mode has no memorization exercises.
When reading the Colorful Quran in English transliterated Arabic mode, you may not notice that there is an algorithm designed to match the pause requirements of the original Arabic scripture, (waqf signs). As you may know, the original Arabic Quran has five main types of pauses, (waqf) signs. (1) Compulsory break, where the transliteration uses a full stop. (2) Optional pause with the preference for pausing, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a probability of two thirds. (3) Optional stop with an equal preference for pausing and resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a half-half probability. (4) Optional pause with the preference for resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a chance of one third. (5) Attraction pause, also called hugging, or (mu’anaka) sign, where it is compulsory to pause at either one of two nearby positions, but not both; where the transliteration inserts a comma at either one of the two locations with a half-half probability.
ColorfulQuran.com displays pages in one of three Arabic fonts. Each may appear with a one-third chance, adding more diversity to the already diverse colors. And the words remain unchanged forever. ColorfulQuran.com will have more beautiful fonts soon, God willing.
