The Inevitable (Al-Waaqe'ah)
96 verses, revealed in Mecca after T H (Taa Haa) before The Poets (Alshu'araa')
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
۞ When the Event inevitable cometh to pass, 1 And there can be no denying of its befalling. 2 (a calamitous Event) that shall turn things upside down: 3 When the earth will be shaken with a terrible shake. 4 and the mountains will crumble 5 And become dust dispersing. 6 And ye will be three kinds: 7 Then (there will be) the Companions of the Right Hand;- What will be the Companions of the Right Hand? 8 Then those of the left hand -- how (unhappy) will be those of the left hand! 9 and the Outstrippers: the Outstrippers 10 (The foremost ones) will be the nearest ones to God 11 In gardens of delight; 12 a large group of the early believers, 13 And a few from among the latter. 14 On lined couches, 15 facing one another. 16 There shall go round unto them youths ever-young. 17 with goblets and ewers, and a cup from a spring 18 Unheady, uninebriating; 19 And fruits that they may like. 20 And with flesh of fowls from that which they desire. 21 They will have maidens with large, lovely black and white eyes, 22 The likenesses of pearls well-protected, 23 As reward for what they used to do. 24 There they shall hear no idle talk nor any sinful speech. 25 only the words of peace and tranquillity. 26 As for those of the right hand -- how (happy) those of the right hand -- 27 They shall be in the midst of thornless lote trees, 28 Among Talh trees with flowers (or fruits) piled one above another,- 29 In shade long-extended, 30 And water everflowing. 31 and an abundance of fruits, 32 Neither limited [to season] nor forbidden, 33 And carpets raised. 34 Perfectly We formed them, perfect, 35 And made them virgins. 36 full of love, well-matched 37 For those on the right hand; 38

Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
