The Inevitable (Al-Waaqe'ah)

In the Name of Allah, the Merciful, the Most Merciful
۞ When the Event inevitable cometh to pass, 1 no soul will deny its coming. 2 (a calamitous Event) that shall turn things upside down: 3 When the earth will be shaken with a terrible shake. 4 And the mountains shall be made to crumble with (an awful) crumbling, 5 and become a dust, scattered, 6 You will become three categories: 7 Those on the right hand; how happy shall those on the right hand be! 8 Companions of the Left, what are the Companions of the Left? 9 And the foremost are the foremost, 10 They shall be the nearest to God. 11 in the Gardens of Delight, 12 a large group of the early believers, 13 And a few of those of later time. 14 On lined couches, 15 reclining on them, arrayed face to face; 16 they will be waited on by ageless youths 17 with goblets, and ewers, and cups filled with water from unsullied springs 18 Whereby there shall be neither headiness nor will they be inebriated. 19 with fruits of their own choice 20 And with flesh of fowls from that which they desire. 21 and wide-eyed houris 22 like hidden pearls, 23 A reward for what they used to do. 24 No empty talk will they hear there, nor any call to sin, 25 except each other's greetings of, "Peace be with you". 26 And those on the Right Hand, Who will be those on the Right Hand? 27 Among thornless lote-trees 28 and clustered bananas, 29 And a shade ever-spread. 30 Gushing water, 31 and fruits in abundance, 32 That will neither finish, nor ever be stopped. 33 And on Thrones (of Dignity), raised high. 34 for, behold, We shall have brought them into being in a life renewed, 35 and made them virgins, 36 full of love, well-matched 37 for the Companions of the Right 38

عند قراءة القرآن الملون في وضعية اللغة العربية المرسومة بالأحرف الإنجليزية، قد لا تلاحظ وجود منظومة برمجية مصممة لمطابقة متطلبات علامات الوقف في النص العربي الأصلي. فكما تعلم، يحتوي القرآن على خمسة أنواع رئيسية من علامات الوقف. (1) وقف لازم، حيث يستخدم الرسم الإنجليزي نقطة وقف. (2) وقف جائز مع الوقف أولى، حيث يستخدم الرسم الإنجليزي فاصلة قد تظهر باحتمال الثلثين. When reading the Colorful Quran in English transliterated Arabic mode, you may not notice that there is an algorithm designed to match the pause requirements of the original Arabic scripture, (waqf signs). As you may know, the original Arabic Quran has five main types of pauses, (waqf) signs. (1) Compulsory break, where the transliteration uses a full stop. (2) Optional pause with the preference for pausing, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a probability of two thirds. (3) Optional stop with an equal preference for pausing and resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a half-half probability. (4) Optional pause with the preference for resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a chance of one third. (5) Attraction pause, also called hugging, or (mu’anaka) sign, where it is compulsory to pause at either one of two nearby positions, but not both; where the transliteration inserts a comma at either one of the two locations with a half-half probability.
