The Inevitable (Al-Waaqe'ah)
96 verses, revealed in Mecca after T H (Taa Haa) before The Poets (Alshu'araa')
In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
۞ When the forthcoming event does occur. 1 There is, at its occurrence, no denial. 2 It will bring down [some] and raise up [others]. 3 When the earth is violently shaken 4 and the mountains are totally shattered and crumble to pieces 5 Becoming dust scattered abroad, 6 and you shall be three bands -- 7 Companions of the Right, what are the Companions of the Right? 8 And those on the Left Hand (i.e. those who will be given their Record in their left hands), Who will be those on the Left Hand? (As a disgrace for them, because they will enter Hell). 9 And those Foremost (in Faith) will be Foremost (in the Hereafter). 10 those are they brought nigh the Throne, 11 In gardens of bliss [will they dwell] 12 A large group from the earlier generations. 13 but [only] a few of later times. 14 Seated on couches wrought in gold and encrusted with precious stones, 15 reclining on them, arrayed face to face; 16 There will circulate among them young boys made eternal 17 with goblets, and ewers, and cups filled with water from unsullied springs 18 No headache will they have therefrom, nor will they be intoxicated - 19 with fruits of their own choice 20 and such flesh of fowl as they desire, 21 And (there are) fair ones with wide, lovely eyes, 22 Like unto Pearls well-guarded. 23 as reward for their deeds. 24 There hear they no vain speaking nor recrimination 25 only the words of peace and tranquillity. 26 The Companions of the Right 27 [They, too, will find themselves] amidst fruit laden lote-trees, 28 And banana-trees (with fruits), one above another. 29 and shade extended, 30 and waters gushing, 31 and fruit abounding, 32 Whose season is not limited, and their supply will not be cut off, 33 They shall be on upraised couches, 34 We have created maidens perfectly 35 And made them virgins, 36 intensely loving and of matching age. 37 for those on the Right, 38

Notes and Instructions
قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
