۞ I do not need to swear by the setting of the stars 75 and, indeed, that is a most mighty oath, if you only knew -- 76 That (this) is indeed a noble Qur'an 77 preserved in a hidden Book which 78 which none shall touch except the purified; 79 A revelation by the Lord of the worlds. 80 Then why do you dissimulate this Revelation? 81 and make it your daily bread [as it were] to call the truth a lie? 82 So why was it not, when the soul reaches up to the throat, – 83 And you at the moment are looking on, 84 – at that moment when We are closer to him than you, although you do not see (Us) 85 Then why do you not, if you are exempt from the reckoning and recompense (punishment, etc.) 86 do you not restore his soul, if you are truthful? 87 But if he [the dying person] is one of those brought near to God, 88 it will have rest, happiness, and a beautiful Paradise. 89 And if he is one of those on the right hand, 90 (he will be greeted with): 'Peace be upon you, Companion of the Right' 91 And if he be of the beliers, the erring, 92 there shall be a hospitality of boiling water 93 And burning in hell. 94 Verily, this is the Very Truth and Certainly. 95 Therefor (O Muhammad) praise the name of thy Lord, the Tremendous. 96
