۞ So I swear by Mawaqi (setting or the mansions, etc.) of the stars (they traverse). 75 (and that is indeed a mighty oath, did you but know it) 76 Indeed, it is a noble Qur'an 77 inscribed in a well-guarded Book, 78 Only they can reach it who are clean (of mind). 79 a revelation from the Lord of the Universe. 80 How can you regard this discourse with disdain? 81 and make it your daily bread [as it were] to call the truth a lie? 82 Then why, when the soul at death reaches the throat 83 And ye are at that moment looking 84 – at that moment when We are closer to him than you, although you do not see (Us) 85 Why then, if ye are not in bondage (unto Us), 86 Bring it back, if you should be truthful? 87 But if he [the dying person] is one of those brought near to God, 88 Then happiness and bounty and a garden of bliss. 89 and if he is of those who are on the Right, 90 Then [the angels will say], "Peace for you; [you are] from the companions of the right." 91 But if he (the dying person) be of the denying (of the Resurrection), the erring (away from the Right Path of Islamic Monotheism), 92 there shall be a hospitality of boiling water, 93 and the heat of hell fire. 94 This is indeed an utmost certainty. 95 Extol, then, the limitless glory of thy Sustainer's mighty name! 96
