I swear by the fallings of the stars 75 And that is indeed a tremendous oath, if you understand. 76 That it is a Recitation honourable. 77 in a well-guarded preserved Book, 78 Which none can touch except the purified. 79 a sending down from the Lord of all Being. 80 Would you, now, look down with disdain on a tiding like this, 81 do you make it your provision to belie it? 82 Why, then, when the soul leaps up to the throat of the dying 83 And you at that time look on-- 84 And Our angels are nearer to him than you, but you do not see - 85 Then why do ye not,- If you are exempt from (future) account,- 86 do you not bring back his soul, if you speak truly? 87 Then, if he is one of the honoured, 88 then for him there shall be comfort and plenty and a Garden of Bliss; 89 If he is of those of the right hand, 90 'Peace be upon thee, Companion of the Right!' 91 And if he be of those who treat (Truth) as Falsehood, who go wrong, 92 For him is Entertainment with Boiling Water. 93 And a hurling into the blazing fire. 94 This is indeed an utmost certainty. 95 Wherefore hallow thou the name of thy Lord, the Mighty! 96
